Blessing Ceremony

This past Sunday we had our Blessing Ceremony for little Josie. It was a small gathering of close friends and family celebrating the birth and life of Josie. We planted the tree in her honor and designated her "Godparents."

The weather couldn't have been nicer and it seemed that everyone had a great time. Josie was perfect the whole time and everything went according to plan. Given that we had never done anything like this before, I don't think it could have turned out any better.

Being that I had to be a part of the ceremony, I was unable to shoot the event myself. As a result I asked a good friend and fellow VW enthusiast Nate to shoot it for me. He did a great job and I appreciate him taking time out of his busy schedule to do so.

6 Months

Josie is 6 months old and had her check-up yesterday. Seriously ... where did the last 6 months go?? Time to start planning her first birthday party!

Despite some mild Eczema she is doing great and is growing, growing, growing! 60th percentile for both her height and weight.
