All better!

By Saturday and Sunday our little miss Josie was finally feeling much better. She was less cranky, in a better mood, and eating a lot more. There were still a few visible sores left from the virus so we played it safe and kept her home for one more day on Monday. By Tuesday morning, she checked out fine so back to daycare she went. She was starting to miss school and her friends so she recovered just in time.

The weather over the weekend was fantastic so we took Josie to the park and out for ice cream. She wasn't into the ice cream for whatever reason, but she did have fun at the park. Mama also picked up a slide (which she loves) at a yard sale that's just her size. Being stuck at home for so long made us all excited to be able to finally get out again. Towards the end of the week, every now and then, Josie would go grab her coat, walk over to the door, point and say "out." It felt like we were holding her in captivity.

Oh and tomorrow we're going to Sesame Street Place. I've already cleared all my memory cards because I know I'll be shooting non-stop. There's no chance I'm going to miss a single moment; not if I can help it. I have a feeling it's going to be an epic day. Check back in a few days for those shots and who knows ... maybe even a video or two!

FREEDOM!
