April

It seems like the rest of April just flew by with the blink of an eye. Between work, Josie, studying and my camera acting up, posting updates became somewhat difficult. The camera trouble though is really the main reason why things went stale. I struggled with it for a few weeks but fortunately, I think I've finally macgrubered something for the time being so we should be back in business.

We're glad that you're checking in so here's what you missed. Josie's bank of vocabulary has really skyrocketed in the past month. She's saying so much these days and trying to say even more. In addition, her Chinese comprehension is simply astounding. Believe it or not, there are some things that she can understand better in Chinese. Her ability to learn so much and so quickly continues to amaze us day in and day out.

And then there's Elmo. We've always known that she loves Elmo, but it's only recently that she’s started asking for him on her own. Whether it’s playing Elmo games online or watching Elmo DVDs, she just can’t seem to get enough. It's exciting though because we're taking her to Sesame Street place in a few weeks and I have no doubt that she's going to have a blast.

A few other tidbits worth mentioning:

- Josie started her swimming lessons again and she seems to be enjoying it a lot more this time around. It’s fun watching her “swim” to toys that she’s locked onto.

- On April 30th at 11:38 am, we welcomed Josie’s baby cousin Isabella Michele Lau into the world. She weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs & 4 oz. Congratulations Denny & Sammi.

- Donovan McNabb is now a Washington Redskin (who saw that coming), and Jason Soup (Campbell) was traded to the Oaklan Raiders!!!

- And lastly, after weeks of studying, I spent over 3 hrs grinding through 50 questions just to completely bomb my latest Microsoft certification test. I wasn't even close.

Well now that you’re all caught up, let’s move onto the pictures.
