Usually when we ask Ms. Sassypants about her day, we're greeted with a wide range of responses. While some are straight forward and to be expected, there are times when we have to take a few minutes to process what it is she's trying to tell us. Her signature move is to throw in some random memory about something that happened months ago during the middle of a conversation. More recently though she has made us aware of Circle Time and how much she enjoys it. According to our sources we found out that she actually took over the class and ran Circle Time on her own the other day, making everyone sit in a circle, picking out the story, and handed out the snacks. It isn't clear whether or not she read the entire story to the class on her own, but I'm going to guess she had help with that part.
And the other night, we had our own Circle Time. Check it out. I dare you to tell me it's not freaking adorable.
While this is only a small glimpse into her munchkin sized world, it is reassuring to see that she's really enjoying school; so much so that she's emulating one of her favorite activities with us at home. Props to Mama for getting her into this fine institution, and to those that continually teach her day in and day out.
